'Highly recommendHad the plate with grilled catfish. By nighttime, back in our place, we melted the tablea and made ourselves hot chocolate drink (ala e) - It was fair for its price. Maybe, we expected too much from Java Jazz but other people seem to like this cafe. 1 visitor has checked in at Java, Juice and Jazz. Well, it was only P120.00 so we availed one. The lady manager convinced us and taught us how they prepare it. They played One Note Samba though (but it was Sitti's version - love her, anyway). Finally, we bought a pack of their tablea. I was expecting I'll be listening to American-Latin-Japanese-Portuguese Jazz but it was all "jazz" covers of American and OPM Hits. It was good but they informed us that it was supplied by a different store so, no cookie points for Java Jazz. The "Jazz" in Java Jazz. I stopped when I saw the gooey part.The Cookie. Not only was it VERY oily, it took them around 10-12 minutes to serve 4 tiny pancakes yet then there are undercooked portion (the middle). We ordered that and got disappointed again. Available on the 88. The male crew suggested the regular pancakes. Enjoy calming jazz and blues on Kjazz 88.1 (Kjazz). It was 6 PM so, we were not looking for something heavy. (This is a no-no for me).Let's go with the food then. She guaranteed that the Tagaytay Blend is a must-try. To my surprise, she cannot provide answers as well. The crew cannot answer our inquiries so he called the female employee (I believe, she's the manager). We asked the staff several questions as to the specifics of the their "Best seller" (Tagaytay Blend). But, I got extremely disappointed. Being coffee freaks, me and my partner are both critical and particular with our coffee. For me, that was an absolute indicator that I should include this cafe in my Tagaytay trip. Before going to Java Jazz, I checked the reviews of my fellow website Foodies.
